Juventus Women are thinking about recruiting Alisha Lehmann to Turin with Douglas Luiz if the Brazilian joins the men's team. As negotiations over a trade for the Brazilian superstar to Juventus heat up, the Serie A club has hinted at a potential switch for Aston Villa women's star Alisha Lehmann. According to Italian insiders, the duo would serve as an extremely appealing marketing tactic to improve the club's brand.

Aside from the glitter and celebrity the pair enjoys on the internet, Juventus would be getting two tremendously talented footballers. Arsenal is also interested in Luiz, but he has apparently accepted personal terms to play for the Old Lady, whereas Lehmann has become one of the most well-known figures in women's football.

Luiz scored nine goals and provided five assists throughout the English Premier League last season, helping Aston Villa qualify for the Champions League. His excellent midfield exploits have earned him a place among Europe's most sought-after players. Meanwhile, Lehmann netted twice in 15 games in the Women's Super League for Villa, who finished sixth.

With the potential that Aston Villa might require a sale before the 30 June deadline to comply with the English Premier League's profit and sustainability standards, Luiz's future could be settled while he is abroad for the Copa America. Lehmann was previously seen supporting her lover during the summer and will keep continuing to do this while the event is ongoing.

How much will Douglas Luiz earn if he joins Juventus this summer?

Tuttosport reports. Douglas Luiz is expected to make €5 million per season at Juventus, and only a few technicalities remain to complete a swap agreement with Aston Villa including Samuel Iling-Junior as well as Weston McKennie.

Juventus have been in a rush to complete a mega swap deal to buy Aston Villa playmaker Douglas Luiz. The Bianconeri will shell out €18-€20 million, including McKennie and Iling-Junior.

Both of them have expressed an interest in joining Ason Villa, although the Turin-based newspaper believes the English attacker wants assurance regarding his playing time and will shortly speak with Unai Emery.
