Joshua Zirkzee shares his thoughts after his heroics for Manchester United against Fulham

As the new Premier League started Manchester United started their campaign on a positive note as they defeated Fulham by a score of 1-0 at Old Trafford Stadium. "To win here in my first home game and to grab a goal, it couldn't be better. "At the end of the day, we got the win - that's all we wanted. I can't really explain the feeling, it's just very nice. "I feel very warm here. It's a great team. We want to achieve something great. It's been amazing, it's been a dream, actually," Zirkzee told Sky Sports. 

Erik Tag Hag happy with the win

Manchester United manager Erik Ten Hag was happy with the win and the impact of Joshua Zirkzee's goal. He said, "It showed that subs are very important. It's great in the first game to bring on a sub and he ends up winning us the game. 

Meanwhile, Manchester United lost the FA Community Shield to their arch-rival and had an awful last season as they ended in eighth position and had only one trophy FA Cup. Meanwhile this season Manchester United has a good squad and will fight for titles. Manchester United next play Brighton on 24 Aug.
