Neymar has made jokes about his future plans since he returned to Brazil, stating that joining Fortaleza would prove to be "a pleasure" due to his injury. The 32-year-old attacker has returned to his own country following yet another setback in his fitness. Neymar, who has just returned to activity after a 12-month absence due to knee ligament damage, is nursing a thigh ailment that will keep him away from playing for a few weeks.

Neymar will fly into Ceara and then connect with medical personnel in Brazil to undergo some of the therapy for his most recent knock. Security personnel who back the local Fortaleza side met him at the airport.

Neymar, the former Santos player, smiled when asked if he would join the Serie A team, saying, "It would be a pleasure." Fortaleza posted a "Welcome, Neymar" greeting on their official Twitter handle after a video of that incident went viral on social media.

Since Neymar's contract with Al-Hilal is set to expire next summer, it is anticipated that he won't play again until 2025. His future has been the subject of much conjecture; it has been proposed that he would join Inter Miami's MLS team in order to restructure FC Barcelona's legendary "MSN" strike force alongside Lionel Messi as well as Luis Suarez.

Neymar set to have contract terminated with Al-Hilal

Injuries have characterized Neymar Junior's second part of his career, and the Brazilian's stay at Al-Hilal in Saudi Arabia has been a fitness disaster for nearly the whole duration. After missing a year of play due to an anterior cruciate ligament injury, the 32-year-old has now suffered another muscle problem.

Neymar has only appeared in seven matches for Al-Hilal despite being paid a substantial sum on a two-year contract, and with six months remaining in January, they have decided to pare down their losses. They have reportedly grown weary of Neymar's injury problems and are seriously thinking about not only his departure but also ending his contract.
