The top executives of Manchester United convened in London on Wednesday for a planned meeting. Present at the meeting were Jim Ratcliffe, Joel Glazer, Sir Dave Brailsford, and Jean Claude-Blanc, who represent INEOS in the United hierarchy, along with chief executive Omar Berrada, sporting director Dan Ashworth, technical director Jason Wilcox, chief financial officer Roger Bell, and Chief Operating Officer Collette Roche.

The Times reported that the meeting lasted at least six hours, and it was concluded that manager Erik Ten Hag will continue to lead the team. The club’s board convened at INEOS’ offices in central London on Tuesday. Typically, major decisions like a managerial change are publicly announced after such meetings, but as of Tuesday evening, the club has not released any official statement.

Ten Hag Cling onto his Position

Ten Hag has not been informed yet if his position is in jeopardy. Consequently, he intends to lead the team when the domestic season recommences, with United facing Brentford at Old Trafford in a week.

The situation regarding Ten Hag's future remains uncertain, with The Guardian reporting that there has been no official statement from the club. There are speculations that Manchester United will only confirm Ten Hag's departure if a decision to sack him has been made. Additionally, there are suggestions that the club might announce Ten Hag's dismissal later in the week if they choose to go down that path.

Former Manchester United, Ruud Van Nistelrooy is the forerunner to take over the reigns of Erik Ten Hag at Old Trafford. Although no decisions have been made related to the position of the gaffer, it is expected to be made soon.
