Kobbie Mainoo injury update

Kobbie Mainoo, a midfielder for Manchester United, will miss a "few weeks" due to a muscular issue. The young England international pulled out of the Three Lions' squad during their two Nations League matches last week after experiencing the issue in United's 0-0 Premier League tie at Aston Villa.

The Red Devils' fitness update stated that Mainoo would be back in a few weeks, although it did not provide a specific date. Before the international break in November, Erik ten Hag's team has seven matches in four weeks. Mainoo might return to play in the Premier League match against Chelsea at Old Trafford on November 3 if the two-week appraisal holds true.

He could make his next appearance on the field on November 7 against PAOK in the Europa League or on November 10 against Leicester City in the league, which is United's final match prior to the November international break, if his recuperation takes a little longer.

According to the update, Mainoo appears to be out of the lineup for the forthcoming match against Brentford, as well as the games against Fenerbahçe, West Ham, and Leicester City in the EFL Cup.

Other major injury updates for Manchester United

Harry Maguire, a defender, has also been sidelined for a comparable amount of time following an injury sustained at Villa Park. However, Noussair Mazraoui returned to training after experiencing palpitations in his heart and undergoing a recent medical operation. Last week, the Morocco international had a little corrective treatment as a precaution to address a somewhat frequent issue.

After hobbling off in Uruguay's 0-0 World Cup qualifying tie versus Ecuador on Tuesday, midfielder Manuel Ugarte had a recovery session on Thursday. After missing matches for Argentina and Ivory Coast, respectively, Alejandro Garnacho (knee) as well as Amad Diallo (sickness) returned to training and are expected to play when United hosts Brentford at Old Trafford on Saturday.

While Tyrell Malacia remains to make progress toward full fitness following a protracted knee injury, Mason Mount as well as Luke Shaw are still out.
