Liverpool's management is making strategic moves to plan for the future during this summer's transfer window. The club has signed potential alternatives for key positions on the pitch. Giorgi Mamardashvili has been signed as an alternative for Alison Becker, and the club is also in talks with Adrian Truffert as a potential alternative for Andy Robertson. Furthermore, the management is actively seeking a reliable backup for star winger Mo Salah, considering his exceptional performance in the Premier League coupled with his proneness to injuries.

Liverpool is not only looking for a future star who will carry the baton from Salah but also a player who can be an immediate alternative on the pitch.

Juventus star Federico Chiesa appears to be just the perfect candidate for the role, and Liverpool is wasting no time; the club is in contact with Chiesa's agent, and a deal is likely to be made before August 31st.

As per reliable Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Liverpool has attempted to sign Federico Chiesa this summer from Juventus, and the player has given his full availability to join the Reds after initial talks. The Italian Winger is more than excited to kickstart his premier league career at Anfield. The payment clause won't be an issue since Chiesa is available and is willing to cut down his wages if the need arises.

According to Spanish Journalist, Matteo Moretto, Chiesa's ask would be around £4-5 million net, which rounds to £83,000 per week.

Chiesa's addition to provide versatility to Liverpool's forward line

Chiesa's addition to the roster will bring much more versatility to Liverpool's frontline. Chiesa, who is deemed 'unstoppable, when at his best ' by legendary Giorgi Chiellini, with his pace and dribbling skills, can rip opposition Defenses apart. Liverpool mostly plays with a 4-3-3 formation, with Salah linking up the strikers Nunez or Gakpo; Chiesa will play a similar role, starting the game on the left wing, Diogo Jota being his substitute. Chiesa is also versatile with playing on either of the two wings and has a strong, weak foot, which will only add to the worries of Red's opposition.
