Barcelona manager Hansi Flick has confirmed that Lamine Yamal will be back in action this weekend, as the team welcome Las Palmas to Montjuic. The teenage superstar has been out of action since the start of the month, Barcelona but has returned to training this week. The rising youngster Yamal missed Barcelona's 0-1 LaLiga loss at Real Sociedad on Sunday due to a right ankle injury suffered in the Champions League.
The club informed that the teenager could be out for up to three weeks and will miss Spain's Nations League clashes with Denmark and Switzerland. Barcelona lost two La Liga points while the 17-year-old was out due to an ankle injury, but Flick assured reporters he will return for the match against Las Palmas. Following their respective recuperations from injuries, Barcelona forwards Ferran Torres and Lamine Yamal have resumed full training.
After Barcelona defeated Breast 3-0 in the Champions League, coach Hansi Flick hinted that Lamine Yamal would play a few minutes against Las Palmas. "He is training now, better every day. And a greater intensity. I wouldn't say a specific date, but he is very close to playing games again."
Barcelona dealing with injury problems
Ronald Araujo, a defender for the Barcelona, has made great strides in his injury, which is another encouraging development. After suffering a hamstring tendon tear during the Copa America last summer, the Uruguayan is nearing the end of his recovery. Part of the training session was completed by Araujo at the same speed as his teammates, indicating that he would soon be back.
