Before their Nations League encounter against the Netherlands, the German national team will pay respect to the four players who left the "Mannschaft" following the most recent Euro Cup: Toni Kroos, Thomas Muller, Manuel Neuer, and Ilkay Gundogan. The legendary quartet will have the opportunity to say goodbye to the German supporters before the match, which will be held in Munich's Allianz Arena. Bild has reported that there will be "a grand celebration" following the game.

Before Germany's UEFA Nations League game against the Netherlands began, Thomas Muller and Manuel Neuer were given a respectable send-off in Munich's Allianz Arena. The two 2014 World Cup winners, who had 131 and 124 caps, respectively, retired from international football after the home European Championship in the summer. Toni Kroos (114 caps), a former FC Bayern player who was unable to attend the stadium on Monday night, and Ilkay Gundogan (82), who both recently resigned from the national team, was also honoured. The supporters cheered Neuer, Muller, and Gundogan as they took the field at FC Bayern's home field before the national anthems were played.

They had also constructed a spectacular tifo. The term "Legends" was displayed in large letters in the Sudkurve, with pictures of the players who were leaving and the words "Thanks for everything, lads" written underneath. Thomas Muller holds the third-highest number of caps in DFB history with 131 for Germany. With forty-five goals, he is tied for sixth position. Neuer is the most-capped goalie in German FA history with 124 appearances.

Together, the two were named World Cup winners in Rio in 2014, and Neuer was recognized as the competition's top goalie. Germany has qualified for the UEFA Nations League quarterfinals with two games remaining, and three members of FC Bayern are in the starting lineup. The team defeated the Netherlands 1-0 (0-0) at home in Munich's Allianz Arena, with Joshua Kimmich, Serge Gnabry, and young player Alexander Pavlovic all starting.
