Wade Barrett took to Instagram and posted a story to praise Jude Bellingham. After the match, Barrett wrote "Legend (Jude Bellingham)" and expressed his appreciation for the England star. His play in the middle allowed England to make inroads into the match which seemed to be slipping away from their grab. Wade was happy for the young player who has been doing well for quite some time and hoped to see a lot from him.

During his peak, Wade was a member of Nexus and led it. After its implosion, Wade could not get the required exposure. In the last few years, he has been a part of the commentary panel on Smackdown. At the Clash at the Castle, Wade got a bit overboard and criticized CM Punk for costing Drew McIntyre the world title match in his own backyard.

Wade Barrett's WWE team to face Manchester City

WWE recently made a big deal with Manchester City. It is likely to be around merchandise. After the announcement from WWE, Wade took to X and made a WWE team to face City. He included names from NXT, Raw, and Smackdown. His team included the Raw stars like Drew McIntyre, Sheamus, Gunther, Ludwig Kaiser, and JD McDonagh. His team had Smackdown stars like Giovanni Vinci and Santos Escobar.

There were NXT stars like Jaida Parker, Nathan Fraser, and Axiom. The WWE commentator inserted himself as the 11th member of the team and had Michael Cole as his manager. While Corey Greaves was named the coach, Pretty Deadly was named the mascot. The team of Wade received huge criticism from Finn Balor, who believed the team should have featured his name.
