Drew McIntyre progresses to Money in the Bank after beating Ilja Dragunov and Sheamus in classic main event match on Raw (Source: X)
Drew McIntyre qualified for the Money in the Bank ladder match. The Scottish Warrior emerged victorious in the main event of Monday Night Raw after beating the tough duo of Sheamus and Ilja Dragunov. In the process, Drew has joined 5 other wrestlers to compete for the briefcase consisting of a world title contract.
The match between the three turned out to be a banger, as promised by Sheamus. Ilja was not happy with Drew not considering him even an opponent. Hence he took out the 3-time world champion. Dragunov then concentrated on the Celtic Warrior. Drew returned and took on Ilja. He did not commit the mistake he did before. The match had the intensity and aggression from all wrestlers. All of them seemed hungry for a win.
There were some incredible moments in the match and the crowd acknowledged it with the chants of "This is Awesome". Ilja delivered a German Suplex off the apron to both Sheamus and Drew McIntyre which led to the ring shaking. He tried to pin both Drew and Sheamus, but in vain. At that stage, Dragunov was all over the experienced duo. The crowd got behind him.

Ilja delivered an H bomb to Drew. But McIntyre moved out of the ring to avoid a pinfall. He then attempted to deliver an H bomb to Sheamus but got kicked. Just when the Irish attempted to pin the Russian, the Scottish Warrior dragged Ilja Dragunov out of the ring. He dumped the talented wrestler through the barricade and got into action. Sheamus tried to pin Drew but in vain.
Sheamus and Drew got into the act and the crowd went behind them. Sheamus quickly delivered ten punches on McIntyre's chest. But Drew recovered. He delivered a Glasgow kiss and followed it up with a Claymore. It was enough for him to pin Sheamus to qualify for the Money in the Bank. After the match, McIntyre said he won the match as promised and would be the winner of the briefcase to become the world champion soon.
