Former Premier League title winner Andre Schurrle recently embraced the great outdoors by completing the Iceman Challenge once again.
With 57 caps for Germany and a memorable victory in the 2014 World Cup, Schurrle has made many contributions to his national side. However, he chose to retire from professional football at the age of 29, expressing a desire to prioritize his well-being over the intense competition.

At 34 years old, the former footballer, who enjoyed a successful career with both Chelsea and Fulham in England's top flight, has transitioned from professional football to the thrilling challenge of mountain climbing across Europe.
Recently, he took to Instagram to share his experience of participating in the Iceman Challenge for the third consecutive year, a journey inspired by Dutch extreme athlete and motivational speaker Wim Hof.
The challenge demanded that Schurrle trek up a snow-covered mountain without a T-shirt, serving as a rigorous test of mental and physical strength.
Undeterred by the harsh conditions, the German athlete donned only shorts, gloves, a beanie hat, and hiking boots as he confronted below-freezing temperatures during his expedition.

Schürrle concluded his career with a total of 86 goals in 373 appearances. He played for clubs such as Mainz 05, Bayer Leverkusen, Chelsea, Wolfsburg, Borussia Dortmund, Fulham, and Spartak Moscow.
His international career, which wrapped up in 2017, was equally great; he amassed 22 goals in 57 matches.
