FIFA Club World Cup 2025 draw

During the draw on December 5 in Miami, the top football teams in the world will learn who they will face in the group stage of the first-ever 32-club FIFA Club World Cup. The competition's earnings and perks for the clubs are still unknown, its TV broadcasters are unknown, and just one sponsor—Chinese electronics manufacturer Hisense—has been revealed, therefore the date was eagerly awaited.

In order to choose each of the eight groups consisting of four teams that will participate in the FIFA Club World Cup in the United States of America from June 15 to July 13, the draw will begin at 1800 GMT. Throughout the round of 16 towards the final, the 16 teams who place first and second in each group advance to the knockout round.

The new FIFA Club World Cup will have 32 clubs, featuring Real Madrid, Manchester City, and Bayern Munich, compared to the previous edition's seven participants. Football's governing body has not yet announced any broadcast deals, and the enlarged event has drawn criticism for the additional workload it will put on players.

Gianni Infantino, the president of FIFA, has declared that Lionel Messi's Inter Miami will begin the club competition on June 15 at Hard Rock Stadium, home to the Miami Dolphins of the NFL. Every four years, FIFA intends to host the enlarged competition. The FIFA Club World Cup host for 2029 has not yet been selected. It might be a case that the nation of the inaugural winners might get the hosting rights for the next edition.
