Omar Marmoush to FC Barcelona

Last week, scouts from Barcelona, Manchester United, along with Tottenham Hotspur traveled to see Omar Marmoush play for Bundesliga team Eintracht Frankfurt. A Daily Mirror story claims that Omar Marmoush is getting more and more in demand across Europe every week. Scouts from FC Barcelona, Manchester United, as well as Tottenham Hotspur visited Eintracht Frankfurt last week to see the attacker during the UEFA Europa League. During the summer transfer window, the Bundesliga team will seek £60 million to let go of the Egyptian international.

During his time at Eintracht Frankfurt, Omar Marmoush has shown to be one of the Bundesliga's top strikers. Despite living in Germany for more than seven years, the 25-year-old has just established himself in the top flight of Germany in the past 15 months.

With Eintracht Frankfurt, the former Wolfsburg striker had a fantastic first season and has continued to improve this year. Marmoush has scored 17 goals and provided 11 assists in 19 games in all competitions, contributing to 28 goals. Meanwhile, a number of well-known teams, like FC Barcelona, Manchester United, as well as Tottenham Hotspur, have taken notice of his development.

Which team would Omar Marmoush end up in next season?

Marmoush has just now come to FC Barcelona's attention. As Robert Lewandowski ages, the Catalan powerhouses are searching the market for an additional striker. Barcelona is considering a number of prospects, and the Egyptian international is a good fit. But the £60 million asking price from Eintracht Frankfurt might be problematic for the Blaugrana.

In the meantime, it makes sense that Manchester United would be interested in Omar Marmoush. Given the uncertainty surrounding Marcus Rashford as well as Joshua Zirkzee's long-term prospects, the Red Devils have been looking in the market to find a striker. Thus, Manchester United should give the forward from Eintracht Frankfurt some thought.

During the summer transfer window, Dominic Solanke made a high-profile move from Bournemouth to Tottenham Hotspur. But with Richarlison's long-term future unknown, Tottenham could use a flexible attacker, which makes Marmoush a desirable target.
