Update from Tottenham's Coach

It's important to note that Solanke won't be available for Tottenham's match against Everton due to an ankle injury, and there's also a possibility that he may not be able to play against Newcastle on September 1.

Postecoglou added " Yeah, Dom picked up a knock in the last game. He got through the game but it flared up the day after. He will miss tomorrow "

“It’s an ankle injury. He copped it early on, someone went across his ankle. He’s out tomorrow. It just depends on the recovery., Next week we’ve got the international break, but it’s not serious, we know that it's just an ankle injury." - Postecoglou revealed.

In the absence of their first-choice striker, Postecoglou might consider playing Richarlison as Tottenham's number nine. However, it's worth noting that Richarlison also missed out on the pre-season matches due to a calf injury. Richarlison made a cameo appearance at the end of the Leicester game, flashing a header wide of the post. This marked his first appearance in a Spurs shirt since last spring when he suffered an injury, underwent surgery, and began the road to recovery.

Postecoglou may try to play Korean Star Son Heung-min or Dejan Kulusevski down the middle. It's important to note that Kukusevski is used to playing that role from last summer.
