President Joan Laporta,  Directors Josep Ignasi Macià and Joan Soler, Vice-President Rafa Yuste, as well as President Office member Enric Masip took advantage of the first team's trip to Rayo Vallecano to formally open Barça's second Barça Store in Madrid. The FC Barcelona store network is still growing.

Among the Club's proprietary stores, the first one debuted in December 2022 and has one of the highest turnover rates. The Barça Store in Madrid (C/Arenal 9) is situated in the heart of the city in an excellent position between the well-known Puerta del Sol plaza and the ancient Palacio de Gaviria. It was the first proprietary store outside of Catalunya when it originally opened.

The first level of Terminal 4 located at Madrid airport will house the brand-new 140 square meter Barça retail store. With the new store's launch, FC Barcelona will be the only football team with a proprietary store situated in Madrid Barajas airport.

The majority of flights in Spain arrive at Madrid airport. Barça hopes that the Barça Store in Terminal 4 will attract global FC Barcelona supporters who wish to purchase anything from training equipment to first team uniforms, as well as unique Barça-designed collections for FC Barcelona followers of all ages and other Club-related merchandise.
