Joao Felix, a loanee from Atletico Madrid, has stated that he intends to stay at FC Barcelona past the conclusion of the current season, but he has also acknowledged that other factors are at play. In addition to expressing his eagerness to get involved at Camp Nou, the Portuguese player requested improved treatment from the media.

Felix clarified that he did not intend to sign for Barcelona on the last day of the transfer window; rather, he travelled over to the Metropolitano for approval of some contractual terms, and Atletico wouldn't have let him to depart on loan if he hadn't given up "things." He said, “My family and I are very happy here, and I would love to stay. But it doesn’t depend on me alone.”

His apparent departure from the starting lineup of late in La Liga did not alarm him. The attacker added, “I would like to play more, but the competition is very strong. It doesn’t bother me that people talk about me as an inconsistent player. I have decided that I am not going to suffer anymore because of what people say about me.”

Felix is expected to be retained by Barcelona for the upcoming campaign, but only on a loan arrangement that works with their budgetary constraints. Felix's permanent departure is urgently needed, but Atletico is also eager to get back more than half of the transfer cost they paid.

Joao Felix talks about rumours of Bernardo Silva joining FC Barcelona

The star of Manchester City, Bernardo Silva, has long been associated with Barcelona. Felix disclosed that a Portuguese teammate has questioned him about the weather and legal system in Barcelona.

The FC Barcelona loanee said, “If I were Deco for a day, I would without a doubt bring in Bernardo Silva. I hope they can bring him. He is a great footballer and a fantastic person. He usually asks me how things are here. I told him everything is fine, so he can come.”
