Erling Haaland, a striker for Manchester City and Norway, responded hilariously to a fan's strange question. On Sunday, July 21, Haaland celebrated his 24th birthday and uploaded a photo of himself with his open hair, in contrast to how he usually wears his hair wrapped in a tidy bun. However, an admirer left a strange note in his comment box, asking whether he was a woman.

Erling Haaland posted with the caption, “Thanks for all the birthday wishes, everyone,” replied Haaland. “Twenty-four years old means I’m no longer a talent anymore, so let’s get to work. No excuses.” Meanwhile after posting a picture on his Instagram account a fan of Erling Haaland wrote, “Hey bro, Are you a female?”. Erling Haaland commented to his comment, “Nope mate. 100% masculine male.” This comment got so viral and got 4000 likes.

Haaland recently confessed that his father had him perform the 'most Norwegian thing' during the off-season. Haaland claimed that his father forced him to cut wood in the highlands as strength training. Following Norway's failure to qualify for Euro 2024, the 24-year-old had some free time during the summer.

Erling Haaland's performance for Manchester City

Haaland scored 27 goals in the Premier League in 2023–24, nine less than he scored in his previous rookie season. He was also unable to score in three of City's final four games. On August 10, City plays United in the Community Shield to begin the season. Eight days later, they play Chelsea in the Premier League.

They lost three of their 38 league games, ended two points ahead of Arsenal last season, and advanced to the quarterfinals of the UEFA Champions League, where they were eliminated by Real Madrid on penalties.

Ahead of pre-season tour Manchester City will take on Celtic in North Carolina. Later they will face AC Milan, Barcelona and Chelsea.
