Alejandro Garnacho, a winger for the Red Devils, has drawn criticism from Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag for spending too much time with him before starting him in the team's Europa League match against FC Twente. After their disappointing 0-0 draw with Crystal Palace in their previous Premier League match, Man Utd faced another challenging game as they could only draw 1-1 at home against Twente.
Manchester United had a strong start to the game and dominated much of the first half. Lammers missed the far post with a side-footed effort, giving FC Twente an early chance, but United quickly gained control of the match. Eriksen, starting for the fourth time in a row, pounced on a loose ball inside the Twente area in the 35th minute. United took a well-earned lead when the Danish midfielder fired a powerful strike that soared past goalkeeper Lars Unnerstall.
Erik Ten Hag will be in the limelight because, despite ending a poor campaign last season with a spectacular triumph over rivals Manchester City in the FA Cup final, many fans and commentators would have been shocked to see the Dutch mastermind survive as United manager this summer. When former Ajax manager Ruud Gullit examined Ten Hag's antics with Garnacho, he was not satisfied.
🚨🚨🎙️| Gullit: "I saw Erik ten Hag talking to Garnacho all the time. The only thing a player is thinking during a moment like that is: 'dude, leave me alone.'"

He believed the player was receiving too many instructions from the former Ajax boss and was being told to "dude, leave me alone." Ten will be the focus. It's never a good look for a manager to micromanage and be very controlling over their players, especially if it's not accompanied by improved performances and results.
Garnacho is having an impact on Manchester United
Since Alejandro Garnacho is a talented young player who has made an impact for United in the first squad, it would have been preferable for him to just go onto the field and start playing freely, giving this struggling MUFC team some much-needed energy.
Nevertheless, this is just Gullit's observation, so it might not be true. The other side of the debate is that Ten Hag has managed Garnacho fairly well thus far, with the gifted young international from Argentina playing some excellent football after starting to play more frequently in the first team under this manager.
Although it's impossible to know for sure how Garnacho truly felt about Ten Hag in this situation, the board, who has given United's manager a lot of time and expensive additions to try to improve the team's position without seeing any return on their investment thus far, won't be sympathetic if he doesn't turn things around quickly.
