At 22 years old, Romeo Beckham, son of David Beckham, has decided to call it quits from the world of football. The young athlete has opted not to extend his contract and will shift his focus to the world of fashion.

According to the reports of 'The Sun', Romeo Beckham has chosen to end his football career. Having declined a contract renewal from Brentford, the club where he previously played in the youth team, the 22-year-old is putting an end to his time on the field.

Romeo Beckham's Scratchy Career Path
The son of the Global Icon, David Beckham did have a fluctuating career. After being released from the Arsenal youth academy in 2015, he shifted focus to his tennis career. His return to football in 2020 saw him joining Inter Miami and subsequently moving to Brentford, where his football journey came to an end. He scored 2 goals in 26 appearances for Inter Miami CF(II).
Initially playing for Arsenal London, he later joined his father in Miami and eventually moved to Premier League club Brentford, where he featured for the second team.
From 'Bend It Like Beckham' To 'Walk Like Beckham'
As per the reports from The Sun, the English Club Brentford was keen to extend Romeo's contract, but the latter turned it down. David Beckham's heir wanted to pay complete attention to his career as a model. One of the sources from the Sun mentioned that Romeo's real passion is fashion and he is grateful for the time he spent at Brentford.
Beckham Junior signed a deal with the top agency "Safe Management" in Paris and is eager to make a splash on the catwalk. In the past, Romeo has already done work for brands like Burberry, Puma and Saint Laurent.
