They have been awarded with financial rewards. League One clubs received £778,500 as a Solidarity Payment and a £920,000 Basic Payment - a total of £1,698,500.

Ryan's club has so far received an amount of £519,000 Solidarity Payment and £635,000 Basic Payment for playing in League Two in 2023-24, amounting to £1,154,000. Ahead of the next season former Manchester United midfielder David Beckham has given his praise to Reynolds and Rob McElhenney for their amazing efforts as co-chairmen of Wrexham as the team continues to make its mark in the football world.

The Welsh club will be expected to perform better in the promoted league because they will face some of the toughest opponents in Reading, Wigan Athletic, and Charlton Athletic, all of which have experience playing in the Premier League and may pose a problem due to their fan base.

It was always going to be a challenge: David Beckham

Giving his perspective on the experience of a team owner of Inter Miami, the former Paris Saint-Germain midfielder said of the experience of setting up a team in the US: "I do think they play into it. That’s why I moved to America in 2007 with my family to join the MLS and to join the Galaxy — because I knew that there was potential." His team has some biggest stars of European football with the likes of Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, Jordi Alba, and Sergio Busquets.

"It was always going to be a challenge, and I’m glad that I played a small role in making the league as big as it is now, but it takes moments like what we’ve just done," he said, before praising Wrexham's owners, saying: "It takes things like ‘Ted Lasso,’ and it takes people like Ryan and Rob to give it that bit of air."
