Spain Against Racism

Carvajal emphasized the firm stance against racism in football and underlined the need to eradicate all forms of discriminatory Behaviour from stadiums. He expressed strong opposition to any incidents of racism at sporting events, particularly about the abuse suffered by Vinicius Junior.

Carvajal also discussed the ongoing efforts within La Liga to address hooliganism and to implement robust measures aimed at preventing their re-entry into stadiums. However, he stressed that isolated incidents should not overshadow Spain's overall reputation or its capability to successfully host major events such as the World Cup.

Carvajal stated:- “I think that LaLiga is improving and protocols are being drawn up so that the hooligans cannot return to sporting events."

“I think that LaLiga is improving and protocols are being drawn up so that the hooligans cannot return to sporting events. But, beyond these people, I do not consider that Spain does not deserve to celebrate a World Cup,” Carvajal added.

Carvajal happy to be nominated for Ballo'n'dor

Carvajal expressed his appreciation to coach Luis de la Fuente for offering him and his teammate Rodri the opportunity to cast their votes for the Ballon d’Or. While Carvajal doesn't view himself as a frontrunner for the award, he emphasized that being considered for such an honour is a source of pride for him, particularly because defenders are frequently overshadowed by goal scorers.

Carvajal admitted that being a defender, it's difficult to win the prestigious Ballo'n'dor, especially when in football what matters most is Scoring a Goal. Nevertheless, he feels happy about the nomination.
