While the exact reason for the jet's visit to Manchester remains unclear, discussions among fans are actively ongoing. However, the aircraft is unable to depart at this time due to a crack identified in one of its windows.

Engineers discovered a crack in the matte black jet, which features an image of Ronaldo's signature 'siu' celebration and his CR7 logo, during a routine inspection.

The aircraft will remain at the airport until the necessary repairs are made, with engineers currently awaiting the shipment of a replacement part. The striking airliner was spotted alongside the aircraft that Manchester City used for their Champions League last-16 qualifier against Real Madrid on Wednesday.

Ronaldo made headlines by purchasing a luxury airliner last year. Although it's unclear if he was on board when the plane touched down in Manchester, it's important to note that he spent several trophy-laden years at Manchester United during two separate tenures.

Just the night before, he showed his skill on the field in Al-Nassr's hard-fought 3-2 victory over Al-Ahli. Ronaldo's journey with United began in 2003, and after an impressive six years, he made a high-profile transfer to Real Madrid in 2009.

He returned to Old Trafford for a brief period from 2021 to 2022, which concluded dramatically following his explosive interview with Sun columnist Piers Morgan.

Now, the football icon and his Al-Nassr teammates are set to take the pitch on Friday, ready to face Al-Ettifaq at the Prince Faisal Bin Fahd Stadium.
