Cristiano Ronaldo's current goal on YouTube is to surpass MrBeast. In European football, the Portuguese icon has set several records at both the club and global levels. Ronaldo is currently trying to establish himself as the most subscribed creative on YouTube, having broken several records already.

The former Real Madrid and Manchester United stalwart discussed the possibility of surpassing American YouTube phenomenon MrBeast at a press conference for the UEFA Nations League. Recently, a video with the Portuguese forward discussing his timeline to surpass Mr. Beast's subscriber count was published on X, formerly Twitter. He said, “MrBeast on YouTube? In two years, let’s try to beat him.”

Last month, Cristiano Ronaldo created his YouTube channel, UR Cristiano, and it quickly gained popularity among followers. He broke a lot of records on YouTube on the very first day of launching his channel, in large part because of his immense global popularity. In less than a week, he added over 50 million subscribers, and in just 90 minutes, he attracted a million. Ronaldo still needs to catch up to MrBeast in the race on YouTube, though. With 313 million subscribers, the 26-year-old American is presently the most popular creative on YouTube.

It may not be long for Cristiano Ronaldo to overtake MrBeast, given the speed at which his channel is expanding. While the 26-year-old American took 28 days to acquire 20 million subscribers on YouTube, Ronaldo only needed one day to accomplish so.

Can Cristiano Ronaldo shine for Portugal once again?

During the press conference, Ronaldo exuded confidence in the expansion of his channel and the competition on YouTube. On September 6, the first-ever UEFA Nations League champions are scheduled to play Croatia at the Estadio da Luz.

During the UEFA Euro 2024, Cristiano Ronaldo had a goalless performance in his final international tournament. The legendary player from Portugal was scoreless in five games, and his team was eliminated from the championship in the quarterfinals against France. On penalties, the Les Bleus defeated the 2016 champs 5-3. Ronaldo, a five-time Ballon d'Or winner, has not scored in any of his 11 tournaments before this one.
