La Liga president Javier Tebas has addressed Real Madrid's ongoing attacks on referees. The Spanish giants, who are the reigning champions of both Spain and Europe, have been openly vocal about their dissatisfaction with match officials following a series of controversial decisions.
Tebas has been resolute in defending the referees against the relentless criticism from Los Blancos. In a recent statement, the La Liga president took a pointed jab at the 15-time UEFA Champions League winners.

Tebas expressed a desire to reform the refereeing system. He suggested that if one were to consult other clubs, they would argue that Madrid and Barça are the primary beneficiaries, even though they lack a TV channel to voice these concerns. He believed that RMTV was the sole media outlet propagating this misleading narrative.
“If we conducted a survey among Spanish clubs and asked them which clubs benefit the most from refereeing decisions, the majority would say Real Madrid and Barcelona. But of course, all clubs—except Real Madrid—do not have a channel dedicated to attacking referees or stirring up controversy.” Tebas said.
Tebas stated that Real Madrid frequently expresses dissatisfaction regarding various issues, including past and future events, and suggests that the club attributes problems to a perceived conspiracy. He mentioned that he is aware of several Madrid fans who do not support the club's position.
"Real Madrid is a club that cries all the time. About last weekend, about the next weekend and blames everything on a conspiracy. I know many Madrid fans who don’t agree with the club’s stance." Tebas said.
Real Madrid is set to face Girona on Sunday, February 23, in an important La Liga match, where a victory will be essential to keep pace with league leaders Barcelona. The Galacticos have been unable to win in the last three league outings.
