Chile's Skipper and Barcelona's former Goalkeeper Claudio Bravo took a dig at his former club's management and how it operated over the years.
The 41-year-old Chile's goalkeeper compared Barcelona's management operations to Manchester City, which also happens to be one of his former clubs.
FC Barcelona has been synonymous with its questionable management decisions since its star man Lionel Messi left the club in 2019. The quality of the Club's management only degraded over the past few years, and it's really difficult to determine whether the current regime of Joan Laporta made the dining situation significantly better or even worse, as even in the current season, the club continues to struggle with signing and registering players.
Barcelona's mismanagement has always been the Club's centre of attention since Messi's departure. Bravo, who was part of Barcelona from 2014 - to 2017, is now shedding some light on how the club operates.

Bravo said, “I always say this: Barça operates like a small team. It’s gigantic on a global level, gigantic. Madrid and Barça must be the biggest in terms of media presence, in terms of popularity, the most well-known… Wherever you go in the world, they fill the stadiums.”
He further added, " Barça is gigantic, but internally it feels very small; you always see the same faces, just a few people: players, staff, three or four guards, the cook, and not much more.”
Bravo's admiration for Manchester City
Claudio praised Manchester City for its resource pool, which is massive in this regard. The Club has unlimited resources in terms of people in the pool, locker room, medical area and gyms.
“There are more than enough people. They don’t skimp on resources or personnel to ensure that the players develop in the best possible way and lack absolutely nothing. You focus on playing, we have the best physio, the best gym trainer, and not just one, but two or three. In the medical area, they have twenty stretchers, not five. You have two or three doctors…” he said.
Barcelona has had a history of operating in a different manner than other big clubs. This difference was once considered their winning formula. However, the present conditions scream a different story, lack of success and consistency is scrutinizing the club on all fronts.
