Chelsea star Enzo Fernandez to celebrate New Year with ex-partner, alongside children

In what seems to be pleasant news for his fans, Chelsea skipper Enzo Fernandez will celebrate the New Year (2025) with his ex-partner and childhood love, Cervantes. Fernandez and Cervantes will celebrate this occasion, alongside their two kids. Earlier, Chelsea star’s request by denied by his ex-fiance when he asked her to join him on Christmas.

Cervantes had decided to spend Christmas with her family and cousins, alongside two kids; however, she has now nodded to Enzo’s request to be together in London to celebrate the New Year.

In the same line of events, Fernandez and Cervantes have also spoken about their feelings about being together on the occasion of New Year.

“Enzo asked me to go to London for Christmas. But I told him I preferred to spend it here in Argentina because the kids have more cousins and it makes the moment of opening gifts and everything else more special. But for the 31st, we’ll travel there and spend it together,” said Cervantes to La Nacion.

Subsequently, Enzo added, “I’m not going to go to Big Ben with a cider alone. We talked about it, and he has no problem with it, and neither do I, in that I know how to separate things. We are going to do everything possible to make the children happy.”

Notably, the duo had been in a relationship since they were in their teenage; it was the time when the Argentina international was in action for his country’s club River Plate. Furthermore, Cervantes got pregnant when she was 19 before the Blues’ Center-Midfield moved to Benfica.

Later, Cervantes took her way back to his homeland, along with two kids after the break-up with Fernandez.

Speaking of the action, the 21-year-old was recently in action against Fulham in the ongoing Premier League 2024-25, in which Chelsea lost the game by 1-2. Now, he will be leading the side in the next Premier League ‘away clash’ against Ipswich Town.
