Chelsea set to outbid Bundesliga giants in an attempt to sign Jobe Bellingham

Premier League side Chelsea is reportedly going to contest against European giants in a bid to sign Sunderland sensation Jobe Bellingham.

The younger of the two Bellingham brothers, Jobe has been garnering attention with his impressive performances in the Championships for his club. He is greatly contributing to his club's efforts to make it back to the top division of English football, the Premier League.

Chelsea to go all out for Jobe Bellingham 

As per the reports of the Sun, Jobe Bellingham is set to receive the best bid from Blues-Chelsea. Chelsea is committed to maintaining a strong bunch of homegrown players within their ranks. 

Jobe seems to be following a similar career route as his elder brother, Jude Bellingham. He is currently developing his game with the English under-21 side. Jobe may be in pursuit of levelling up to a higher division, as Chelsea remains hopeful that the youngster will join them in the Premier League setup

Enzo Maresca is determined to fend off overseas interest, particularly as Borussia Dortmund is actively pursuing the 19-year-old to carry on the Bellingham legacy at Signal Iduna Park.

The admiration for Bellingham extends beyond the black and yellow, with reigning champions Bayer Leverkusen also closely monitoring the midfielder's situation.

Jobe's current club, Sunderland, is persistent in keeping him in the squad beyond this season as they hope to get promoted to the English top flight. 

Sunderland is currently eight points shy of the automatic qualification spot. With 10 weeks of League action left, the club needs to get past Sheffield United and Burnley to seek automatic qualification.

If Sunderland fail to secure promotion, a transfer for Bellingham will likely be imminent, with Chelsea leading the pack of interested clubs.

Bellingham is valued at £40 million, but with several clubs eager to sign him, a bidding war could drive his price even higher. Bellingham has netted 4 goals and assisted thrice in 32 appearances for the club this season.
