Chelsea have already appointed their new manager Enzo Maresca, from Leicester City, after they sacked Mauricio Pochettino despite picking up the pace towards the business end of the season. The Italian manager who led the Foxes back to the English Premier League after topping the EFL Championship, will be eager to prove his worth with one of the biggest EPL clubs in the next season. He has already appointed his support staff and technical team.

But the Blues has been a very active transfer market, with a high amount of footballers coming in and going out. Now that Maresca is in the team, he will be eager to fully have the control of the footballers he needs and suit his system. There has been a discussion held over the profiles he would like added in the coming months. As of the reports by Football. London understands that a goalkeeper, centre-back, and midfielder are all seen as the priority.

Thiago Silva who has already departed from the club soon as the season for club football came to a conclusion. The club needs to fill in the position immediately as there is no name yet as they have the likes of Trevoh Chalobah. But they will need to sell two of their academy players in order to bring in some big signings.

Chelsea says no to offers for Hutchinson

The 44-year-old manager does not want the management to go all out for the signing of Victor Osimhen this summer despite it being thought that a new striker is on his list as per his targets. As per reports in Italy, the new boss is not keen on the idea of bringing the Nigerian striker in despite his best time in Napoli. He costs over £110 million and could make the way for a possible move for Romelu Lukaku back to Naples.

The manager wants a striker who excels at linking up, dropping deep, and offering support from further back as well as in the box. On the other hand, the club is not willing to entertain loan offers for Omari Hutchinson this summer as the footballer is a target for Ipswich, Stuttgart, and Feyenoord, but with a £20 million price tag and the club has no intention to sell him outside of a permanent deal. He has been sensational and ready to make a serious step up into the senior team after having a great year in the EFL Championship and would help Cole Palmer on the right side of the pitch.
