Riccardo Calafiori, an Italian defender, has apparently received a good salary offer from Chelsea, based on a report. The center-back, who may also play left back, has been linked to Chelsea ever since he had an outstanding Euros campaign with Italy.

They were sadly eliminated from the competition previously this week and forced to return home, but that now presents a good opportunity for any club hoping to recruit him during the transfer window—Chelsea, it seems, is among them. Many clubs have expressed an interest in signing him, therefore it's likely to be the next major transfer story. Additionally, it appears that Bologna, his club, will be willing to sell him during this window and are making encouraging offers.

Riccardo Calafiori has already received a big wage offer from Chelsea, according to Italian journalist Alfredo Pedulla. Chelsea would make a great addition if they could pull this off. But considering the number of clubs that will also be proceeding for him as well, it appears that it may be all but impossible.

Arsenal and Liverpool have already been suggested, and I'm sure more teams will follow. Inflationary fees will result from this one becoming even more well-known, especially as his club appears to be seeking an exchange of bids for him.

Chelsea look to sign young Bayern Munich attacker

Chelsea may have added another young European striker before the transfer deadline, in addition to the promising 18-year-old Marc Guiu that the Blues acquired from FC Barcelona. Attacker Mathys Tel of Bayern Munich participated in 30 Bundesliga matches last year, but he only started six of them. He did not play past the Round of 16 and started just one of the team's twelve Champions League games.

Nevertheless, in as many appearances across all competitions, he scored 10 goals. Tel, who will just be 19 in April, meets Chelsea's description of a young player with potential for success. The teenager is versatile, can play anywhere along the front line, and would help achieve a few transfer goals.
