Chelsea has already begun preparing for its summer 2024 transfer window. The Blues are reportedly interested in signing Aaron Ramsdale, the custodian for Arsenal. Under Mikel Arteta, the 25-year-old player is having trouble getting into the game. Following the arrival of Spanish goalkeeper David Raya, Ramsdale was benched after participating in nearly every game during the 2022–23 campaign.

Although Chelsea acquired Robert Sanchez from Brighton during the beginning of the year, they are not impressed with his play. They have determined that the star may be a viable replacement and are hoping to bring a noticeable improvement. Another player that has the ability to maintain his position in the goal is Kepa Arrizabalaga. He was given permission to sign a loan with Real Madrid and will probably remain in Spain.

Which other keepers have been linked to Chelsea FC?

Giorgi Mamardashvili, the goalkeeper for Valencia, is another target for the Blues. Being one of La Liga's best players, he is also being considered by other clubs. Robert Sanchez, the former keeper for Brighton, was signed last summer for approximately £25 million. For the Blues, he began the season, however an injury has prevented him from playing. In the most recent games, Mauricio Pochettino has made Dorde Petrovic his first choice.

Aaron Ramsdale has fallen in the hierarchy of roles and is searching for a way out. Ramsdale played a limited role for Arteta's team after starting the first couple of matches for the Gunners. In addition to allowing some of its players to depart in the summer, the Blues need several fresh faces. Pochettino's team has made it a priority to sign a custodian. With more than 100 Premier League games played and four caps for his country, Ramsdale might be a great fit for the group. The English keeper would certainly get a lot of game time as compared to what he is getting currently at Arsenal this season.
