The Italian was furious with Endrick's attempt. The 18-year-old tried to score the goal by 'chipping' the ball over the goalkeeper.

The moment occurred when Vinicius Junior provided an inch-perfect through ball to Endrick. The young striker had plenty of room to take a clean shot on target, but instead,, he chose to 'chip' the ball over the outrushing keeper. Getafe's goalkeeper, David Soria, deflected the chipped ball, which was then cleared away by defender Dakonam.

Carlo Ancelotti's slams the youngster

Starting for the first time for Los Blancos, Endrick missed two key chances up front. Although Endrick hasn't had enough playtime under his belt, the 18-year-old has failed to impress whenever he gets a chance. He has only scored one league goal since joining the Galacticos from Palmeiras back in 2024.

In the post-match press interview, Real Madrid's manager Carlo Ancelotti expressed his discontent and provided stern advice to the youngster.

"Endrick had two good chances. For the first, I think he couldn't have done much better. The second might have been offside, but he has to learn from that." Ancelotti said.

"Young players need to strike the ball properly, not this theatrical stuff. Theatre in football doesn't exist." He added.

Endrick has played a total of 213 league minutes this season. , While he has struggled in La Liga, the striker became the first Madridista to score five goals in a single Copa del Rey campaign since Cristiano Ronaldo.

Earlier this month, Carlo Ancelotti even admitted openly that the Brazilian needs to wait for his chance from the sidelines before he becomes a mainstay in the starting eleven. Ancelotti gave examples of many players who have gone through the same route.
