Premier club Manchester United's former footballer Carlos Tevez is determined to unite Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo for his farewell fixture. Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi are widely considered the greatest footballers in the world, and together they share more than 1800 career goals, 9 Champions League titles and 13 Ballon d'Or awards.

The former Manchester United player has revealed his intentions to make both the greats play for the same team on the occasion of his farewell fixture. Tevez is amongst the few professional footballers to have shared the locker room with both Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.

Carlos Tevez to pull off Ronaldo-Messi Union 

The former Argentine player is putting in efforts to make the dream of seeing Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi on the same team come true for millions of fans across the globe. Tevez is in pursuit of uniting the two global football icons for his proposed farewell fixture at La Bombonera. Tevez is set to hang up his boots after nearly two decades of playing the game at the highest level.

Carlos Tevez shared the stage with Messi for his national side, Argentina. Tevez and Messi competed together in the 2006 and 2010 editions of the FIFA World Cup. The duo also played 3 Copa América together for Argentina – 2007, 2011 and 2015.

Carlos Tevez is also a former teammate and confidant of Cristiano Ronaldo. He was part of the iconic Manchester United squad between 2007 and 2009. Tevez formed one-third of the iconic attacking trio for the Red Devils along with Cristiano Ronaldo and Wayne Rooney. Tevez and Ronaldo won the UCL together in 2008.

Tevez vowed to bring Messi and Ronaldo into the same team along with some other icons like Wayne Rooney, Edwin Van Der Sar, and Rio Ferdinand, among others.

“Leo Messi, Cristiano… We're going to bring them. I’ll go get them myself. I have them saved in my WhatsApp.” Tevez said.

"(Edwin) Van der Sar on one side and (Gianluigi) Buffon on the other, At center back, we’ll probably have Rio Ferdinand, (Nemanja) Vidic… We’ll bring in (Giorgio) Chiellini, (Leonardo) Bonucci. Patrice Evra, my brother, he has to be there. Midfielders… (Andrea) Pirlo, Paul Scholes, Roman (Riquelme) will definitely be there. Rooney." Tevez added.
