Brazil's World Cup Star Hulk dating his Wife's Niece following divorce

The Brazilian footballer Hulk was a feared player during his peak years at Porto and Zenit St. Petersburg, known for his physicality and incredibly powerful shots. In 2019, he made headlines for separating from his first wife, Iran Angelo de Souza, and swiftly marrying her niece, Camila Angelo, just over a year later.

Why Hulk Married His Wife's Niece 

The couple's relationship began when Hulk was in China, playing for the Chinese Club Shanghai SIPG. The couple got married in the first place, partly due to the reason of Camila needing a visa to stay in China with Hulk. 

The news of Hulk’s relationship with Angelo garnered attention for various reasons, including her being the niece of his ex-wife and their significant age difference. The situation strained the relationship between Angelo and her aunt, and though they once had a strong bond, their relationship has since changed.

Iran, when she learnt about her Niece's relationship, said, "I gave everything to this girl since she came into the world. I sacrificed my dreams so many times to make her dreams come true. And here I am not talking only about material goods, because these are easy to give when you have money, but love, affection, attention, respect ... everything." 

"I sacrificed my dreams for her (Camila) and now I wake up from my sleep at times and wonder why this has happened to me. The pain I feel is similar to a mother burying her own child," she added on Instagram.

The New Couple had a Baby

Hulk and Angelo happily announced the upcoming arrival of their first child together in September 2021. Their daughter, Zaya, was born in April 2022 at a Miami hospital close to their residence. 

Before this, Hulk had three children from his previous marriage. After marrying Iran in 2007, they welcomed two sons, Ian and Tiago, and a daughter, Alice. Hulk shared the news of his new relationship with his ex-wife's niece to his three children after it was already available in the public domain.
