Inter-Miami's Owner David Beckham reveals many clubs approached him to loan Lionel Messi

Following Messi's 66th free-kick goal, which surpassed Beckham's career tally of 65, the Manchester United and Real Madrid legend promptly acknowledged the milestone. David Beckham: "When Messi came to Inter Miami, the matches went badly and we were suffering at the bottom of the table the first year. I received offers from the Saudi and English leagues for a loan, and some friends advised me to accept in order to profit from him, but I refused. I had complete confidence in him and his ability to make us champions one day.”
