Brazil came into the game versus Paraguay on the back of their draw with Costa Rica in the opening match of Copa America 2024. Vinicius Junior began the scoring by slotting Brazil in front with a goal in the 35th minute.
Savio then made it 2-0 with a beautiful goal in the 43rd minute of the game. His second goal game 5 minutes in stoppage time when Vinicius made it 3-0. Paraguay got one goal back when Omar Alderete scored in the 48th minute. Lucas Paqueta ended the contest with a goal of his own via a penalty in the 65th minute to help Brazil win.
Paraguay’s coach was in high praise for the young Brazil star when he said “Today he played a very important role. He played an almost perfect match, he created very good situations and opportunities. He was dynamic, very effective straightforward and direct. He played well with other players and teamed up nicely, he has a great capacity”
The Brazilians will next take on Colombia who are top of the table having won both their matches. Paraguay on the other hand are bottom of the table and knocked out of the tournament while Costa Rica still holds a slight chance.
Meanwhile, the Instagram post from Virat Kohli even got likes from Jude Bellingham and Declan Rice. The England stars will take on Slovakia in their round of 16 match in Euro 2024 after the Gareth Southgate side have been criticized for their performances so far.
