Bernardo Silva enraged at the new schedule

Portuguese star and one of Manchester City's veterans, Bernardo Silva, deemed the schedule as 'completely crazy'. He was enraged by the sudden turnaround and voiced his opinion in public.

"We’ll probably play every three days for months. It's been absurd ":- Bernardo stated

The 30-year-old commented on the new format of the Champions League and mentioned that even if the team don't make it past the round of 16, the players are still entitled to play additional games.

Silva complained about the fact that it's not easy on the part of players to play so many games and remain away from family and friends for so long.

"It hasn't been easy. I spend very little time with my family and friends. The amount of games we're subjected to is absolutely absurd." :- Bernardo said
