Bayern Munich went trophyless for the first time since 2012. They finished 3rd in the Bundesliga and were knocked out of the semi-final in the UEFA Champions League losing two to Real Madrid. The Bavarians have struggled to perform consistently in the season, ahead of the next season they have announced Vincent Kompany as their new manager. The Belgian will be up for a big task in the next season and get right back on track. 

Ahead of the summer window, they have shortlisted some incomings and outgoings for the 2024/25 season. According to Sky Sports Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg, the six players in question are Matthijs de Ligt, Joshua Kimmich, Leon Goretzka, Kingsley Coman, Serge Gnabry and Noussair Mazraoui. These are the six players who could leave immediately should 'suitable' offers arrive, but it has not been ruled out that there could be other departures this summer.

They are interested in Joao Palhinha from Fulham to strengthen the midfield, while there is concrete interest in Jonathan Tah and Xavi Simons, as the latter two will be difficult with their clubs must be interested in selling both of them because the two have been an important part of their respective squads in the last season.   

Kimmich and Goretzka to join Barcelona?

Kimmich however is linked for a possible move to Spain and join FC Barcelona. The midfielder-turned-full-back has already rejected one of the offers of the Blaugranes, Goretzka has had tough times in the last season and under Hansi Flick he has been the best, he will also try to get linked up at Spain. The coach has cleared his vision and wants his team to be attacking play with purpose and keep the pressure on the opposition.
