Bayern Munich confirmed the trade of Luis Diaz from Liverpool for a price of 65.5 million pounds with a post on their social media handles. The Colombian played for three and a half years with Liverpool and was key in their Premier League title-winning campaign in the 2024-25 season.

The talented winger has now signed a new 4-year deal with Munich. Diaz moved to Liverpool from FC Porto in 2022 and became their key player. In 148 matches, the star player scored 41 goals. In the previous season, Diaz was at his best, as he scored 17 goals across leagues, and was one of their key players in the Premier League win.

Liverpool is likely to use the money from his trade to buy Alexander Isak from Newcastle United. Bayern Munich took to X and Instagram and posted the image of Diaz posing for a photo to confirm his move.
