Barcelona's young star Gavi shuns club haters on his Instagram story

FC Barcelona's young midfielder Gavi took to his social media to deliver a strong message to the haters of the club. He also tried to fuel motivation in Barcelona's fans, addressing them directly on his Instagram.

FC Barcelona lost a closely contested second-leg semifinal fixture against Inter Milan at San Siro. The defeat crushed their aspirations of winning a treble this season.

Gavi motivates fans and shuns haters on his Instagram story 

Following the heartbreaking loss, Barcelona's young star Gavi rallied for his teammates and fans on his Instagram story. He also took a stark dig at the haters of his club, asserting they were 'afraid' of Barcelona.

He encouraged his teammates and fans to remain united. The midfielder voiced his frustration over the contentious defeat, asserting that the club's detractors were eager to see them fail to reach the final and were anxious at the prospect of witnessing a new Barcelona. Despite the setback, Gavi maintained an optimistic outlook, emphasising the team's potential to still conclude the season with three trophies against all odds.

"It's really tough, especially knowing how close we were, culers. They didn’t want us to reach that final because with the season we’re having, they were sh*tting themselves. It doesn’t matter how many years it’s been since we won the UEFA Champions League — even though I know it’s really hard and I wish we could win it every year — I’m sure we’ll win it if we’re all together like we always are. I know it’ll come. No matter how fired up we are right now, we can still finish this season winning three titles, when people thought we wouldn’t win anything at the start of it. It’s been a really good season despite this slump. Let’s blow the roof off Montjuic on Sunday and go win!!!" Gavi wrote on Instagram story.

Barcelona can still complete their domestic treble, having already won the Super Cup of Spain and the Copa Del Rey, beating arch-rivals Real Madrid. The club currently leads the La Liga standings and is set to take on Real Madrid in the virtual title decider at Montjuic on May 11th
