La Liga have been over unofficially as Real Madrid has been crowned as the champions of Spain for the 36th time. The teams have two more games to play ahead of the season to end finally. However, there has been a controversy that has emerged recently about 'Match Fixing' in the league. There has been reports over the last 24 hours, which has stated that one of the teams in La Liga has acted on claims of alleged match-fixing.  

Rayo Vallecano has reported that there has been a scandal in the game held between Sevilla FC and Cadiz CF. In the midweek game between both sides, the former club lost the game 1-0 against the bottom half of the side who are on the verge of relegation. If 18th placed Cadiz lost the game against the Andalucian club. The bottom side scored the winner in the 96th minute of the game. 

The victory meant that the club kept them in the race to avoid relegation. However, the win has created suspicion over the other clubs that are on the verge of relegation. The information shows that a player raised the question on this situation 48 hours before kick-off at the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan. Vallecano is not very far from the relegation zone as they are 15th in the league table with 38 points with two games in hand. 

Will La Liga take any action?

The La Liga disciplinary committee will definitely look into the matter of the case and might find out the best possible outcome. Cadiz will be up against Las Palmas on Sunday at their home stadium and will look to win the game in order to keep their hopes alive in the Spanish top division mathematically. This will be the club's final home game before they travel on Saturday to play UD Almeria. 

On the other hand, Sevilla will look to finish their season on high as they face Athletic Bilbao away from home on the weekend, before playing FC Barcelona at their home stadium next week Saturday.
