After suffering an injury against Girona, FC Barcelona striker Dani Olmo will be sidelined for at least four weeks. The announcement was made public by the club on Monday, September 16, one day following their 4-1 victory away from home in La Liga. Olmo, who has had an incredible start to his Barcelona career, will miss important La Liga and Champions League games as Barcelona looks to continue to improve under Hansi Flick.

Dani Olmo has a hamstring injury on his right side, according to tests done. But now Barcelona has a new plan for Dani Olmo as he is getting ready to make a comeback from injury ahead of some big matches in which Barcelona might need him.

As Bayern Munich is getting ready to face Barcelona during an away game in the UEFA Champions League group stage match they need to bounce back after their defeat against Aston Villa. After having a fantastic start to the season, Dani Olmo was forced to sit out the following few weeks due to a hamstring injury.

Marc-Andre Ter Stegen was ruled out of the full season

Dani Olmo will now likely play for about 30 minutes in Barca's upcoming match against Sevilla. Later, in a crucial Champions League match for Hansi Flick's team, the club intends to give Olmo 45 minutes against Bayern. After playing in two games, Barca is hoping Olmo will be ready to go for the October 26 Liga match at Santiago Bernabeu against Real Madrid.

Since joining Barcelona from RB Leipzig in the summer, Olmo has established himself as a vital member of the team. Despite his little playing time, he has scored in all three of his outings.

In addition, Andreas Christensen, Ronald Araujo, Fermin Lopez, Gavi, Marc Bernal, and even club captain Marc-Andre ter Stegen who will miss the entirety of the 2024–2025 season after rupturing his anterior cruciate ligament in a recent La Liga match have to make do without their services under the new Barca manager. Currently, Barcelona are leading the La Liga and will aim to continue this form.
