The London derby saw familiar foes in the form of Chelsea FC and Arsenal clash at the Emirates Stadium. With three crucial points up for grabs tonight, both teams looked to get the better of their rivals and climb up the table during the business end of the English Premier League season. 

However, it was the worst possible start for the visitors as they conceded an early goal from Leandro Trossard. The Belgium attacker squeezed a chance past the Chelsea goalkeeper to open the scoring tonight at the Emirates Stadium. The worries did not end for the blues as the hosts piled on the pressure looking to add another goal on the night.

Arsenal were making constant attempts to increase the lead and the Chelsea defence was looking in shambles. The intricate and quick passing was turning out to be a menace for the visitors to comprehend with. There were some chances for the Arsenal attackers that should have been put away but luck seemed to be with the Blues.

As the half wore on, Chelsea got slightly better to break out of the dominant Arsenal press. They were looking to equalise with a goal before the first half ended. Most of the chances for them came from the right flank as Noni Madueke looked energetic and was creating opportunities for the side.

The second half was pretty one-sided once Arsenal doubled their lead today through Ben White. Kai Havertz scored two more goals to add further misery to the visitors and it was White once again who made it 5-0 against Chelsea. The game was done and dusted and the home fans were making their voices count against their London rivals.

Both teams made a flurry of substitutions but both the managers knew the game was over already. This win for Arsenal has turned out to be the biggest against Chelsea in the history of the English Premier League. The victory also means that the hosts are still in the hunt for the title and sit four points about Manchester City but have played two more games than them.
