The Gunners have initiated plans to pursue Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic next summer. According to TEAMtalk, Arsenal have devised a six-man striker shortlist for the 2025 summer transfer window.
The north London club fiercely contested for the title against Manchester City last season. Despite displaying outstanding form, particularly in the second half of the campaign following their Dubai camp, Mikel Arteta's squad fell short of ending their 20-year wait for a league title.
Last season, Arsenal secured a commendable second-place finish in the league, coming within just two points of the league leaders.
The Gunners actively pursued several top strikers during the summer transfer window as they readied themselves for a strong title challenge in the upcoming 2024-25 season. Rumours swirled around North London, linking Arsenal to sought-after talents such as Ivan Toney, Viktor Gyokeres, and Victor Osimhen. Numerous reports indicated that Arteta was determined to bolster the Emirates Stadium with a prolific striker.
Notably, the club missed out on strengthening their options in the No. 9 position in this transfer window, although they did secure other signings. Arsenal made permanent deals for David Raya, Riccardo Calafiori, and Mikel Merino, and also brought in Bournemouth's Neto and Raheem Sterling on loan.
