Florian Plettenberg reports that West Ham United and Manchester United are currently finalizing an agreement to bring Aaron Wan-Bissaka into the London Stadium. On August 10, a journalist from Sky Sports Germany revealed via X that the two parties are in communication and would sign the agreement on the same day. A medical examination is scheduled for the following three days.

At this point, the negotiations are advanced, with the Englishman expected to join Irons permanently and a "soon" completion date. Since Ben Johnson departed for Ipswich, Julen Lopetegui continues to be searching for a right-back to rival Vladimir Coufal, but the Old Trafford star has proven to be difficult to come by.

If Lopetegui succeeds in getting them all playing, the Hammers transfer window appears to be quite successful on paper. Tim Steidten has performed admirably this summer, and the defensive revamp is ready to advance significantly with Wan-Bissaka expected to replace Jean-Clair Todibo in the starting lineup.

Following the technical director's manipulation of his rumored transfer to Juventus, the French center defender has already finished his Irons medical. One week after the arrival of Crysencio Summerville, Guido Rodriguez, and Niclas Fullkrug, great progress is being made.

What else is happening for West Ham United in the transfer window?

The main drawback is that when the season begins, the new manager won't have had much time to spend working with his newly recruited players during the preseason, so they will need to adjust on the job. However, the Hammers appear to have pulled it off at the conclusion of the David Moyes tenure, even though there is still a lot of improvement to be accomplished in the transfer market.

However, the summer is showing to be increasingly productive in the transfer market, as Kurt Zouma moves to Shabab Al-Ahli, replacing another Frenchman. It remains possible that Nayef Aguerd will also depart as he has gotten some interest from Atletico Madrid as well as Ligue 1 club Lille.
