The exciting young talent from Mali Sekou Kone, who is 18 years old, had garnered attention from several clubs over the summer, and now it's almost certain that United has secured his signature, beating out RB Salzburg, Crystal Palace, and Everton. In a recent update, Romano has stated that the deal is finalized, and formal documents have been signed after Kone is ready to travel to Old Trafford.

Kone is recognized as a promising prospect for the future and is anticipated to initially play in the youth teams. Reports suggest that United is set to pay a fixed fee of around £1m for the player, with additional payments included.

Several clubs were competing for his signature, but Manchester United  emerged victorious in the race. Kone, often utilized as a holding midfielder, is a target player that Ten Hag and INEOS have been seeking to bolster their squad during the summer transfer window. While negotiations with PSG for Ugarte continue, Man United plans to nurture Kone's talent in the Under-21's setup as he adjusts to life in England.

Should Kone excel and outgrow the reserves, he may be fast-tracked to the first team for playing time in cup competitions. Additionally, there is the possibility of loaning Kone to a club in England or elsewhere in Europe to gain valuable first-team experience and acclimate to the high intensity of professional football.

From the looks of it, Manchester United looks all set to sign the Mali youngster and groom him to be a future star.
