GTA Online is one of the biggest MMO titles since its release, clocking in millions of players each month. However, the announcement for GTA 6 has left everyone in confusion regarding the future of GTA Online. Will there be a new GTA Online, or will Rockstar Games revamp the existing one? 2. Keep both servers active.

Shifting everyone to a new version is also a feasible choice but will still leave some fans disappointed if the new game does now live up to the hype.

This is because GTA 6 will be taking place in a completely different setting, including new characters and a completely new map. Furthermore, looking at the general vibe among GTA fans, the majority of the players want a completely new journey despite having thousands of hours in the game. Fans also hope Rockstar Games also improve upon the existing system.
