The Expendables secure Match 4 PUBG Esports World Cup group stage (Image - ESWC)
A strong Match 5 in the final day of PUBG Esports World Cup Group Stage for The Expendables have now made sure that the team reserves their spot in the Grand Finals. The victory, however, did not come easy as multiple top teams were contesting for the top spot, including Daytrade Gaming, who are also fighting to make the final day count.
Day 1 for the Expendables was quite satisfying, despite the team not being able to secure a win. A combination of finishers and multiple top five placement landed them in 4th spot. The final day, however, was going brutal. Those who initially missed their chance were fighting with all they had.
While All Gamers Global and Tianba played their part, the ultimate fight came down to Daytrade Gaming and The Expendables. As both teams closed in, they started losing players one after another until the fight came down to a gritty 1v1. Closing the gap, Delwyn managed to take the win for his team, with The Expendables ending the match with 18 kills to their name.

Tianba takes Match 3 to keep fight for finals
Apart from two chicken dinners, Tianba does not have many highlights. A majority of their matches on Day 1 have been early elimination. Match 3 saw them pitted against PeRo and EArena. For a moment, it looked like Tianba would be the first one out with multiple players downed, but PeRo taking a fight with EArena allowed the team another chance, which they did not let go.
In between all this chaos, BetBoom Team have missed two chicken dinners and somehow, still one of the best performing teams on the Final Day. The same goes for All Gamers Global who are yet to make it into the top three but are still the leading team in the final day of Group Stage.
