The last game for Grand Finals Day 2 of Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2024 was a little scuffed. After initial network problems, the match lobby was re-hosted, allowing teams another chance at redemption while also possibly taking the same away from others.
Raven Esports, another underdog team, managed to their first win in the final game for the day. The team went head-on against Team Tamilas in the final circle and managed to outgun their opponents with the help of zone advantage as their opponents had to come out of cover.
The win allowed the team to make a comeback after multiple upsets, and the team is now trailing Reckoning Esports and Venom Gaming. This also gives them a fighting chance on the final day, however, things will only get tough from here on.
Team Tamilas also made good use of the second chance, as they were one of the first teams to get eliminated before the rematch. The team has been struggling for the entire day, however, the final two matches were a shining moment for them and the team has now made it to the top five spot.
Global Esports reaches triple digits
While Team Soul were the first ones to reach double chicken dinners, Global Esports have managed to out-shine them. At the end of the second day of BGIS Grand Finals, Global Esports has now become the first team to reach triple digits on the scoreboard and the only team to get a 28-point chicken dinner.
Soul on the other hand started trailing after the second game. The team barely touched the top five spots and hasn’t been able to keep up their performance. They are currently in the top five but will need to work a bit hard as there is a lot of ground to cover if they plan to secure the championship.
