After back to back upset on Day 1 of Group Stages at EA Sports FC Esports World Cup, Fnatics' Jonny have finally secured his first win against Team Falcons’ AbuMakkah after a close game. The opening was looking grim once again for Jonny, but the players managed to hold his composure this time and fought his way to bag the victory.

It isn’t easy to play against someone who have the support of the home crowd. AbuMakkah remained a step ahead oh Jonny during the first half, however, Jonny started closing the distance and even managed to create a decent gap in the second half with three back to back goals.

However, as mentioned earlier, the game wasn’t as easy after AbuMakkah made a swift recovery with two goals to equalize the score. The crowd was pumped to see their team starting to make a comeback during the endgame, and it was a do-or-die situation. The person scoring the next goal would likely be the victor of the match.

Jonny did not let this opportunity slip and scored one more goal in the last few minutes of the game. Despite getting a little overtime, AbuMakkah could not make it past Jonny’s defence line and the game ended with the first victory for Jonny in a while. Although, he will need to fill the Goal Difference too in order to move forward.
