The popular action-adventure game The Last of Us Part 2 was remastered and released for PC gamers on Steam. Now, the initial player count was revealed, and it's a big shock for the makers. The new game had many new things compared with its predecessor, ‘The Last of US. ’

It had new gameplay modes, graphic enhancements, a no-return rogue-like survival experience, full DualSense wireless controller integration and many more. It was released in 2020 and was critically acclaimed by many for its dark narrative and survivor modes. The gaming community has a huge fanbase for the franchise, and inspired by that, there is a new web series with the same name. This new remastered version has many bugs, like erasing Ellie and Abby’s skills for some of the players. It is quite frustrating for the players, and they are expecting a patch update very soon.

The Last of US 2 PC Player count

It was released on April 3, and the player count for the game has now been revealed. On its opening day, 30,690 players played the game, which is shocking. It failed to beat its predecessor, which had a 36,500 player count on the first day of its release. The new game had fresh content like four maps, overlooks, schools, streets and nests. Bill and Marlene also become playable characters with new skills and unique weapons. Like PC, the Playstation 5 also received No Return content via a free patch.

LOU 2 Remastered is now below God of War Ragnarök, Horizon Zero Dawn, Helldivers 2 and Ghost of Tsushima. It has barely beaten Marvel’s Spiderman 2’s peak player count. It is based on two people returning to America post-apocalypse. It requires PC specs that can handle its graphics and performance needs.  But even gamers having high-end PCs are facing issues like texture quality, detailing, depth of field and optimisation. We hope the issue will be fixed in the upcoming patches, which will make the game more playable and allow gamers to enjoy one of the best games on their PC.
